The Christmas Postgraduate Bioenergetics Meeting 2007 (IND 36) 19th December 2007

Programme

The meeting was held within The School of Biological and Chemical Sciences, Queen Mary, University of London, UK, in G.23, The Fogg Lecture Theatre, (Fogg Building; #14 on this .pdf map)

For the past several years Theme Panel III has organised a one day meeting designed to give postgraduate students and junior postdocs the opportunity to present their current research to an informed audience, and to keep junior staff abreast of related UK research in Bioenergetics.

This year’s meeting was held at Queen Mary, University of London on 19th December 2007. The meeting consisted of a review lecture, by Professor Peter Rich of University College London, entitled “Advances in applications of IR spectroscopy to electron transfer proteins”. This was followed by a lunch break and then 9 short talks from postgraduate students and junior postdocs were presented (see above .pdf link of the Final Programme)

The registration for this meeting was free, being kindly sponsored by The Biochemical Society,

Documentation on the finalised Programme and details of the meeting venue were circulated by email at the start of December. The local organiser was Dr. Jon Nield.
